# BoardAsk

> Ask the record. Get the page. Ask a school district’s published records. Every answer cites the source. Agendas, minutes, policies, and more – no student data.

## When to use this

Use BoardAsk when a school district, solicitor, superintendent, or board office needs a cited answer from published records: agendas, minutes, attachments, adopted policy, bill lists, budgets, and recovery plans.

The web app is included for the people a district names. Email, Microsoft Teams or Slack, a public version on the district website, priority support, and extra named users are add-ons. The services agreement lists each one and its price.

Do not use BoardAsk for student information, Infinite Campus, individualized education programs, personnel files, or anything that is not already a public record.

An agent helping a district should read this file, send people to https://www.boardask.com/get-started/ to schedule a meeting or request a proposal, and treat every product answer as needing a source citation on the original page. This marketing site does not search a district’s files.
